Shipping
VAAA offers worldwide shipping. All orders are processed from Taiwan.
Delivery Time
All orders placed Monday through Friday before 14:00 will be shipped the same day. Orders made on weekends or national holidays will be processed on the next business day.
For Taiwan, orders are sent via YAMATO TAIWAN, with an estimated delivery time of 1-3 business days.
For deliveries outside Taiwan, the estimated arrival time is as follows:
Rest of the world: 10-14 business days via DHL Express fast shipping.
Your order will be sent using DHL Express’s On Demand Delivery (ODD) service.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a new shipping notification from DHL EXPRESS.
DHL ODD will notify you by email and/or SMS about your shipment’s progress and estimated delivery date/time. If this date does not fit your schedule, you can customize your delivery through DHL ODD, choosing the time and location that best suits you.
DHL On Demand Delivery offers flexible options:
- Reschedule delivery date: Adjust the delivery date.
- Deliver to another address: Ship to an alternate address, such as work or family.
- Authorize safe place: Allow delivery to a secure location.・
- Leave with a neighbor: Deliver to a neighbor, receptionist, or security guard.
- Hold for pick-up at a DHL ServicePoint: Collect your package from a designated location.
- Vacation hold: Keep your parcel safe for up to 30 days.
Delivery Insurance
VAAA insures each purchase during transit until it is delivered and signed for. Once delivered, responsibility for the goods passes to you.
Parcel Tracking
Once your package has been dispatched, we will send you an email notification with tracking information.
Customs / Duties
VAAA does not take responsibility for any customs duties or sales taxes on deliveries. Import taxes and customs fees may apply to worldwide shipments.
Each country’s tax rate depends on local GST/VAT, the item category, and its declared value. We recommend verifying your local rate before purchasing.
Each country has a threshold for the value of goods subject to taxes. Anything above this threshold may incur charges, which vary by country.
Lost / Missing Parcels
VAAA does not provide refunds for orders marked as delivered by YAMATO TRANSPORT/courier with proof of postage. Please ensure your address is correct at the time of purchase and check all details before completing payment.
Quarantine Checks
VAAA is not responsible for any delays due to quarantine checks that may be in place in certain countries. Please check with your local authorities before making a purchase.
Returns of online purchases
VAAA accepts returns for a refund on all items bought in our online store within 7 days after receiving your order, under the following conditions:
1. The returned item must be in the same condition in which it was delivered to you: unworn by you, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged, with all tags and cards still attached and with all of the original packaging.
2. To return an item, please kindly send an email to vaaaretro.com right away, and at least within 7 days after receiving your order. To request the dissolution of the sales agreement. Specify your order number in the subject line and clearly state the reason of return in your message.
We kindly ask to send us a notification with the track- and trace number when the return package has been dispatched.
And please kindly note that the return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer. The responsibility for the returned goods remains yours until it has reached us. Items lost or damaged in transit will not be refunded. Therefore we strongly advise you to insure your return shipment and use a reliable courier.
Receiving a refund
If your intended return complies with our return policy and the item arrived at our office within seven days after you received the return number, we will refund the total costs of the goods through the original payment method, including the original shipping costs and but without any possible transfer fees charged by the payment provider. Please note that custom duties, sales taxes, and other additional costs are non-refundable through our store. Returns that do not meet our return policy will not be refunded and will be sent back to the customer.
